Scott Wertheimer is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Sonoma State University. He completed his Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology at Dominican University of California. Scott has experience in both community and school settings where he has worked with people in all different stages of their lives.

Scott works from a Client-Centered approach where therapy is collaborative and clients have the freedom to navigate at whichever pace is most comfortable to them. Scott aims to provide a safe and calming space that allows clients to explore without having to worry about any sort of judgment. Scott utilizes a Strengths-Based and Solution-Oriented focus to help clients tap into the strengths and abilities that they already possess.

Scott’s emphasizes creating small, obtainable goals that can lead to real, everlasting change over time. Scott prides himself on his ability to be there for his clients no matter what struggles they are going through. He has experience counseling kids, adolescents, adults, families, and couples.
