Margaret graduated in 2021 with her Master's in Psychology from Brandman University with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy.  Margaret is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor.  Margaret has a diverse background, transitioning from a previous career path of marketing and finance. She has lived in various parts of the world such as, Korea, Hong Kong, and Canada, providing her with a unique perspective and host of experiences that have enhanced her role as a therapist.

Margaret believes that individuals and families with differing values, cultures, and belief systems often struggle to reconcile them, and these conflicting values can negatively impact how one thinks, feels, and behaves.  Embracing the belief "I no longer want to shrink myself to fit in" resonated with Margaret, she understands how clarifying your values can help you move forward from the thinking patterns that often impede the happiness, peace, and success you desire.  As an empathetic and interactive therapist, Margaret will listen and provide a safe space to help examine these very values and beliefs that may hold you back from the goals you are trying to achieve.

Margaret is fluent in Korean and specializes in working with kids, teens, couples and families navigating lifestyle changes and transitions.  Margaret can assist you with relationship issues, low self-esteem and self-worth, symptoms of anxiety, and depression.  Margaret uses techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Narrative Therapy to help you achieve your goals.

MARGARET IS CURRENTLY ACCEPTING NEW IN-PERSON & VIRTUAL CLIENTS.
