Alyssa Abke (she/her) holds a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Sofia University, with a focus on Transpersonal Psychology and the use of creative expression to unlock personal growth. She works with individuals of all ages to address a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, self-harm, addiction, grief, identity concerns, and major life changes. Alyssa has a particular passion for supporting adolescents, young adults, and their families, as well as individuals who identify as LGBTQIA+.

Alyssa spent time working at Sonoma Valley Unified School District, where she gained valuable experience and insight into the unique challenges faced by students today in Sonoma Valley. With nearly a decade of experience in educational settings, she is also dedicated to providing mental health support for those with learning and cognitive disabilities. Alyssa enjoys working with kids, teens, adults and families.

Alyssa employs a Person-Centered approach, utilizing Solution-Focused Therapy and Narrative Therapy to help clients identify their strengths and draw on their personal resources to overcome challenges. She believes that with the right support, everyone has the ability to navigate even the most difficult situations. Approaching each client with compassion and cultural humility, Alyssa is committed to meeting you where you are and guiding you through your journey with warmth and empathy.
